Village Art

Primary school students across Australia were invited to decorate the apartments in the Olympic Village of the 2008 Australian Olympic Team.

Students were invited to welcome the athletes and make them feel ‘at home’ in the Olympic Village by drawing or painting some artwork to display in their apartments.

The Australian Olympic Committee extends a sincere thanks to all schools that participated in this activity in Term 1 2008. An overwhelming response was recieved!
