Table Tennis

The atmosphere in Peking University Gymnasium for one of China’s most celebrated sports, table tennis, will be electric. Australian players have been performing consistently on the pro-circuit.

Australia and Olympic Table Tennis

Olympic History

Table tennis became an Olympic sport in Seoul in 1988, without ever being a demonstration sport. Since 1988, China has won 16 of the 20 gold medals awarded, including all five in both the women’s singles and the men’s doubles.
