THE 2008 PREMIER'S GAMES APPEAL DINNER

The 2008 Premier’s Games Appeal Dinner is on Friday 1st August at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre - exactly one week before the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games!

 




A Call to South Australian Businesses to Support South Australian Athletes
In view of the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, The South Australian Olympic Council is calling upon all South Australian businesses to take an active role in supporting the state's athletes. By being part of the donation aquisition in the upcoming high-profile event, The Premiere's Games Appeal Dinner, businesses will be given an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to 1,000 high-profile South Australian Corporate leaders at the dinner while at the same time assisting our athletes to acheive their Olympics goals in Beijing. Bobridge impresses with slick time

Young track cyclist Jack Bobridge will have to change his priorities after a world-class performance on the weekend at the Oceania championships.

Bobridge posted a time of four minutes 18.80 seconds to lap fellow Olympian Mark Jamieson and win the 4000m individual pursuit at his home track in Adelaide. [more]

CoSport announces first Vancouver Ticket Phase

Hackett calls it a day

Grant Hackett has pulled down the curtain on one of Australia's greatest swimming careers to a standing ovation.

The national team captain announced his retirement at Swimming Australia's swimmer of the year awards in Sydney and it drew the entire crowd to their feet. [more]
