Tenaya Logan has been nominated by the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) Redfern, Sydney as an outstanding candidate to participate in the Sydney 2000 20th Anniversary ceremony to re-light to cauldron.

Achievements to date: 

  • Currently studying year 11 at Alex Park Community School
  • 2019 Australian Development Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS)
  • Selected consecutive years for under 16 for NSW metro
  • Selected for High performance program hosted by NSW Metro League
  • NSW State performance program
  • Plays rep basketball for Sydney Comets and locally for Redfern All Blacks Basketball
  • Tenayah and her family grew up in Sydney, have participated in and involved with programs at the NCIE
  • Tenayah is now working at a community program through NCIE and ‘Redfern Youth Connect’
