Weather hinders World Cup

Strong head winds severely hampered all athletes jumping in last night’s World Cup aerials in Moscow, Russia, forcing an early closure to competition. AIS Scholarship athletes Laura Peel and David Morris were among those to prematurely head indoors, finishing the frustrating World Cup sixth round in 12th and 14th. The women’s final was cancelled with the finishing order being determined by qualification results while the men’s final was reduced to a one jump competition.
