Georgia was a multi-sport kid, eventually settling on track sprinting after flirting with the jumps. In 2020 Georgia was setting personal best times but a knee injury then forced her to undergo knee surgery.
She was back to regular racing in the 2021-22 Australian athletics season, competing in the 100m and 200m and set multiple times that were faster than she had before the injury.
Georgia's highest achievement at the international level to date came at the U20 World Championships in 2022, finishing sixth in the women's 4x100m relay in Columbia.
