Charlie made his Commonwealth Games debut in 2022 and won his first bout via a unanimous points decision in the round of 32. In his next fight he was brought undone by Keoma-Ali Al-Ahmadieh (CAN) on a 3-2 points decision.
The West Australian’s start in boxing came as an 11-year-old, nine years after his family moved to Perth from England, when he swapped the dance studio for the boxing gym next door.
