HAVE A GO AT OLYMPIC SPORTS
Sport: Sailing
Event: ILCA 7 – One Person Dinghy
State: Queensland
Club: Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron
Born: 2005
Isaac learned to sail at the age of six while living in Dubai and began racing the Optimist as an eight-year-old. In the beginning he was intimidated by the sport and wasn't a big fan - as a little kid in a small boat on a breezy day can be. With his parents both recreational sailors who occasionally compete, their passion for Sailing eventually rubbed off on him.
The 18-year-old's sporting idol is Ben Ainslie, who he credits for revolutionising the sport through his time in the dinghy and is inspired by Ben's love for Sailing. Isaac now calls Brisbane home and when he's not training or competing he is working on his new small business.
