ABOUT LACHLAN

Lachlan started Sailing in a minnow when he was eight and progressed to Sailing on a taipan as a 13-year-old. In 2021 he started windsurfing on the iQFOiL, with his career highlight to date a 3rd place finish at Sail Melbourne in the youth male competition.

The boy from Frankston was inspired to purse sailing from watching the sailors at his yacht club compete at the America's Cup and Sail GP, with his sporting hero Beijing 2008 Sailing Olympian Glenn Ashby.

The Australian Olympic Committee acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this nation.
