Celebrating our 10-Year Green & Gold Runway to Brisbane 2032

On Saturday 23rd July 2022 the starters gun fired on the Green & Gold Runway to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as the AOC invited the community to “Have a Go” at Olympic sports.

Brisbane’s South Bank hosted the biggest Have a Go session, while events were also held on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

These events took place with the assistance of the Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast City Council and the Sunshine Coast Council.

 

The Australian Olympic Committee acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this nation.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of all the lands on which we are located. We pay our respects to ancestors and Elders, past and present.

We celebrate and honour all of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Olympians.
