DAKAR 2026 | MEET THE TEAM

Team Australia will consist of 41 athletes across 16 sports and will compete from 31 October to 13 November 2026 in Dakar, Senegal. 

The Australian Olympic Committee will send a team of 41 athletes across 16 sports to the 4th Summer Youth Olympic Games taking place in Dakar, Senegal, from 31 October to 13 November 2026. This will be a first for the African continent. 

Athletes will be listed here as they are officially selected onto the 2026 Australian Youth Olympic Team, led by Kenny Wallace, three-time Olympian and Olympic champion in Canoe Sprint, as Chef de Mission.
