The French Alps 2030 Games will be the fourth time France has hosted the Olympic Winter Games and will continue the country's long Winter Olympic legacy. France previously hosted in Chamonix 1924, Grenoble 1968 and Albertville 1992.

The French Alps 2030 Games will be staged across existing and temporary venues spread over several mountain clusters. Alpine skiing will be held in Courchevel and Val d'Isère, the ice events including curling, figure skating, ice hockey and short track will be held in Lyon, and speed skating will be held in the Netherlands. The Games are scheduled to take place from 1 to 17 February 2030.
