ABOUT JOHANNA

Johanna started ice hockey in 2019, after attending a learn to skate program at the O’Brien Icehouse in Melbourne, Victoria. The 15-year-old quickly fell in love with the sport, enjoying the speed of the game and learning the skills that are required.

In early 2023, Johanna was a member of the gold-medal winning team at the IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship in Dumfries, Scotland. An achievement she considers a career highlight.

The Australian Olympic Committee acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this nation.
