HAVE A GO AT OLYMPIC SPORTS
Sport: Ice Hockey
Event: 3 on 3
Lives: Blackburn, VIC
Club: Melbourne Jets
School: Ruyton Girls School
Age at Games: 14
After being introduced to ice hockey by her younger brother when his team needed an extra player, Olivia joined the Jets Junior Academy and developed a love for goaltending. While Olivia is also extremely talented in the sports of karate and inline skating, she chose to pursue ice hockey due to the challenging nature of the sport and the team camaraderie.
While she finds the sport both mentally and physically challenging, she has loved every step of her journey. If there was one thing she could tell her younger self, Olivia said it would be to keep believing in yourself, to reach for your goals and that nothing is impossible if you work hard enough for it.
