ABOUT SOPHIE
A gifted figure skater and dancer as a child, Sophie decided she wanted to try a team sport and at 11-years-old made the move to ice hockey. After being placed on a team with older female players, who had played on both state and national teams, Sophie was inspired to pursue the sport at an elite level.
In early 2023, Sophie was a member of the gold medal winning team at the IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship in Dumfries, Scotland. She was also a member of the Western Australian state 15 & under team at the 2023 Kurt Defris National Championship, where her team placed second.
