ABOUT ABBEY

Abbey first started snowboarding at seven years old and fell in love with snowboard cross at 11. In 2018, she competed in her first four-person race and from that moment knew she wanted to do big things in the sport of snowboard cross.

Growing up in the NSW snowy mountains, Abbey was constantly inspired by the many talented athletes that surrounded her each ski season. Two athletes she considers her sporting heroes are Olympians Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin and Josie Baff, inspired by their commitment to becoming the best in the world and their love for the sport.

In March 2023, Abbey competed at the Junior World Championships where she placed ninth. Later in the year she was named to the NSW Institute of Sport development team – an achievement she considers a career highlight.
