Five years after starting skiing, Sascha decided to make the change to snowboarding after trying the sport during a school trip. Soon after she received her first snowboard, joined the local Winsport team and competed in her first competition.
Inspired by Olympic gold medallist Torah Bright, Sascha loves snowboarding for the fun atmosphere it provides and the ability to hang out with her friends on the hill. In 2022 Sascha competed in the Junior World Championships where she placed 12th. She went on to make her World Cup debut in February 2023, placing ninth.
