Summer training is off to a flying start for the OWI Aerial Ski Team who are currently based in Park City, Utah. Guided by coaches Todd Ossian and Ryan Snow, water ramping is underway as the team continuously progresses to bigger and more exciting tricks.

As Jacqui Cooper builds her way up to the triple kicker and masters her legendary triple twisting triple somersaults, she’s ready to dominate at coming water ramping events in Quebec and Switzerland.

Newly-married Lydia Lassila (Ierodiaconou) has made a powerful return after taking a year off to recover from her knee reconstruction. Back with the same drive and determination, Lydia is impressing the crowd by performing exceptional doubles with her well-known flair.

Liz Gardner has also made a dynamic start to the summer, striking each jump with the goal of perfection.

David Morris is making great changes and conquering new tricks, eager to hit the triple kicker before the winter season begins. Also recovering from a knee reconstruction is Denita Mudge, thrilled to be back in training and determined to pick up where she left off.

The summer promises great things to come as the team prepares for a fruitful competition season. Along with the training, it never hurts to have a close group of encouraging coaches and team members, a perfect gym, and fantastic weather for basking in the sun. (Story thanks to Denita Mudge).
