BIATHLON: Last Friday, Alex Almoukov took part in IBU World Cup 2 10km Sprint at Hochfilzen, Austria.

Almoukov finished 87th out of 105 (1+1), 13.1% behind Berger (NOR), M. Fourcade (FRA) and Bjoerndalen (NOR).

It was another Sochi qualifying time for Almoukov, but the 2010 Olympian was not entirely satisfied.

"Still not feeling like I have my race legs on,” he posted on Twitter.

Almoukov will skip the next World Cup in France to prepare for the FISU Winter University Games at Torino, ITA, followed by World Cup 4, where his first event will be the 10km Sprint on Friday 3 January.
