AOC Letter to Senate Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee

The Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) has made a submission to the Senate Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade Committee.

In its submission, the AOC welcomes the opportunity to provide comments on the Foreign Relations (State and Territory Arrangements) Bill 2020 (the Bill).

The AOC is particularly interested in responding to the suggestion by Independent Senator Rex Patrick that he will seek to broaden the Bill to capture the AOC, against the background of recent calls by Senator Patrick and others to boycott the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
