Holly Crawford and Nathan Johnstone were both eliminated in the qualifying round of the US Snowboarding Grand Prix championships over the weekend, in what the team regarded as a warm-up event for the World Cup season. Crawford was the best of the OWI/AIS halfpipe duo at the Copper Mountain, Colorado, event, riding to a best result of 35.20 points for 13th place, while Johnstone ended in 35th position in the men’s event with 37.60 points.
