SNOWBOARD SLOPESTYLE: Some of Australia's Olympic hopefuls in snowboard slopestyle have progressed in style at The Mile High event taking place in Perisher, NSW.
After missing out on competition at the New Zealand Winter Games due to injury, Lauren Staveley returned in style, scoring 52.33 in her second run to finish 5th and ensure a place in today's final.
In the men's event, Aussies Scotty James and Robbie Walker finished 15th and 16th, ensuring them a spot in the 20-man final.
British snowboarder Billy Morgan took out top spot in the men's qualification with a second run of 93.00 points while Norweigan riders Torstein Horgmo and Emil Andre Ulsletten were second and third respectively.
