AOCBen Sim has finished in eighth place in the men’s 15km at the Swiss Championships in Trun with 72.94 FIS points , then followed up with another eighth in a 10km FIS race at the same venue. Mark Van der Ploeg also performed at the Swiss nationals sprint, finishing in sixth place in the time trial, just seven seconds behind Swiss sprint specialist Eligius Tambornino, scoring 107 FIS points and qualifying for the 2009 World Championship in the process.
