HOCKEY: The Australian women’s hockey team have controlled the first half of their 5th v 6th place playoff with China, however are yet to score with the game tied at 0-0.

Despite the score line the Hockeyroos clearly took the honours in the half and can consider themselves unlucky not to be in front after Anna Flanagan converted a penalty corner, however the video referral denied the goal.

Australia then continued to generate shots on goal, with Ashleigh Nelson and Jade Close looking dangerous.

They received another chance to score in the final 30 seconds from a penalty corner, however the shot by Jodie Schulz was saved.
