The Australian Men's Curling team recently returned from a five day training camp in New Zealand.

The camp was the first of a series of OWI supported training camps that are being conducted in New Zealand, as the Australian Curling Team, currently ranked 8th in the world, prepares for the Pacific Championships, which will take place in Beijing, China, during November 2007.

The OWI will be providing the team with support for training camps and additional competition coaching services.

The camp took place in Naseby, located in New Zealand’s South Island, and was attended by Hugh Millikin, Ian Palangio, Steve Johns and Steve Hewitt.

Overall, the camp was very beneficial, providing the team with a world class training facility.

The next camp is scheduled to take place in New Zealand from the 11th to the 15th of October.
