One week after clinching the World Cup Mogul title, Dale Begg-Smith has returned to action in Inawashiro, Japan, finishing in seventh place.

One week after clinching the World Cup Mogul title, Dale Begg-Smith has returned to action in Inawashiro, Japan, finishing in seventh place.

Dale continued his amazing run of great qualifying performances, qualifying for the final in first place, but unfortunately appeared to have trouble with his second air, a cork 720, and had to settle for seventh place on the tough Inawashiro course.

The event was won by Torino silver medalist, Mikko Ronkainen of Finland.

In the women's event, 2006 Olympic Champion Jennifer Heil of Canada, joined Dale in clinching the World Cup Mogul title, winning the event.

The World Cup Mogul tour has a one week break before the final event of the season in Apex, British Columbia, Canada.
