Dale Begg-Smith has finished in fifth place in the World Cup moguls in Mont Gabriel, Canada, in an event dominated by home-town skiers. Begg-Smith qualified in first place with a score of 25.69 points, well clear of his nearest rival, Vincent Marquis who received 24.84 points from the judges. The 24-year-old AIS skier then produced the highest turn scores in the final, but was poorly scored on his second jump, ending up with a score of 25.10 points, missing a podium place.
