Cameron Morton and Mark Raymond competed in World Cup biathlon events in the past season, with Morton's 76th place in the Sprint event at the 2004 World Biathlon championships, the best result of the season and his personal best. In his previous world championship appearance, in Ruppholding in 1996, Morton was in 80th place in the sprint.
In World Cup competition, Morton's best result was a 68th place in the World Cup in Pokljuka, Slovenia, with team-mate Mark Raymond crossing the line in 95th place.
Scott Malpass and junior biathlete Peter Malcolm also competed in Europa Cup during the season.
