For the first time ever the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup is coming to the Gold Coast from Friday 9 December to Sunday 11 December as part of Urban Sport Fest.
More than 150 of the world’s best competitors in UCI BMX Freestyle, including Tokyo 2020 Australian Olympic Champion Logan Martin, will showcase gravity-defying big air feats.
This will be the 3rd round of the 2022 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup - for the Park discipline - and is the first Paris 2024 Olympic qualifying event.
The three-day festival will not only be bringing the action-packed sport element to the festival, but will also feature a suite of family-friendly entertainment options including live bands, a scooter competition, charity ice bath challenge, skateboard activations and lessons for kids.
It all takes place from the Gold Coast Sport Precinct in Carrara.
