Torah Bright has completed a hat trick of victories following Torino 2006, taking the prestigious US Open over the weekend.

Bright has now strung together winning performances in the VANS Cup in Northstar-at-Tahoe, the World Superpipe Championships in Park City, Utah, and now the highlight event of the US pro tour, claiming the national title for the first time.

The 19-year-old rider scored 88.0 points from the judges to finish ahead of Torino silver medalist Gretchen Bleiler of the US on 85.0 points.

Bleiler's Olympic team-mate Elena Hight took the bronze with 84.0 points.
