Torah Bright has won the opening event of the Burton Global Open Snowboard series in Snow Park, New Zealand. Bright produced the most technical run of the women's field, including the best trick of the day, to defeat 2002 Olympic champion Kelly Clark of the United States for the top place on the podium.
