The world cup freestyle tour moves to Lake Placid, USA, this weekend for two Aerial and one mogul competition. Conditions in Lake Placid have been unbearably cold, with temperatures getting down to as low as -30 and a wind chill of -50.

Olympic, World and World Cup Champion Alisa Camplin is in great form after posting the fifth highest score of all time last weekend in Tremblant, Canada, and will go in as hot favourite to win her third straight event.

Trudy McIntosh is in doubt to compete after injurying her knee in training on Wednesday.

Other Australian athlete competing include world number two Lydia Ierodiaconou, Liz Gardner and Lainie Cole.

Michael Robertson will go into the Mogul event confident of making the final after recording his fourth straight top 15 result last week. Dale Begg-Smith will be keen to bounce back after a dissapointing result.

Also competing for Australia in the moguls are Nick Fisher, Jason Begg-Smith, Manuela Berchtold and Jane Sexton.
