Australian athletes' journey to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics continues this weekend, with World Cup events across a range of sports with crucial Olympic ranking qualification points up for grabs.

We have listed the weekend events below, with links of how to watch live, and athletes' pre-event comments on social media.

Weekend Events: 18-21 November

Short Track Speed Skating World Cup – Debrecen, Hungary

  • 18-21 November
  • Quota places for Beijing 2022 are based on the ranking list at the end of the qualification period in January 2022, based on combined results across World Cup events throughout the season 

 

Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cups – Innsbruck, Austria

  • 19-21 November
  • 19 November: Men’s and Women’s Skeleton | 20–21 November: Women’s Monobob and 2-Woman Bobsleigh
  • Event live streamed on International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBCF) YouTube channel
  • Quota places for Beijing 2022 are based on the ranking list at the end of the qualification period, based on combined results across IBSF events
