CoSport, the Official Ticket Sales and Hospitality Provider of the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC), has launched its first phase of offerings for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games for individual Olympic event tickets.
During the Request Phase that will run from October 3, 2008 to November 7, 2008, CoSport will accept individual ticket requests at www.cosport.com, wherein Australian residents will be able to request tickets for their desired Olympic events.
After the conclusion of the Request Phase, for oversubscribed events, tickets will be allocated utilising a random computerised selection process on behalf of all the individuals who have made requests to purchase that event.
Ticket allocations will be announced to individual customers mid-December 2008. CoSport is confident that Australians will be able to acquire their desired tickets to the majority of the events at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
All information needed to secure Olympic Winter Games tickets including the competition schedule, venue information, times, and prices is available at the CoSport website.
In addition to requesting individual tickets, Australian residents can choose ticket & accommodation packages in three different hotels in Vancouver. Each hotel will have packages consisting of two- to five-night stays. These packages are designed to give Australians a full range of amenities: from all-inclusive packages, which include airport transfers, meals, host services, accredited ground transportation, accommodations, and tickets; to base level packages, which include accommodations and breakfast only in two-night increments.
Hospitality package sales will be on a live, first-come first-serve basis and will also be available to residents of the five other countries that CoSport represents: Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Sweden and the United States.
CoSport will continue to locate and contract additional quality properties to add to their inventory as properties become available. All information needed to secure Olympic Winter Games tickets and hospitality packages, including competition schedules, venue information, event times and pricing, is available on the CoSport website at www.cosport.com.
