On the 16th and final day of the Beijing 2022 Olympics Australia's female cross-country skiers get their turn at conquering a 30km race.
Cross-Country Skiing
Jess Yeaton and Casey Wright have their opportunity at the 30km mass start free after watching Phil Bellingham and Seve de Campo tackle the course yesterday.
This will be their fifth event of the Games, having already competed in the skiathlon, freestyle sprint, 10km classic and the team sprint.
The course is expected to take competitors upwards of 70 minutes to complete. If the weather conditions are anything like they were for the men, a sunny -8 degrees with a strong wind chill making it feel like -17, it will be a major factor in the race.
Jess has an opportunity to beat her Personal Best in this event from PyeongChang 2018 where she finished 41st. Casey tries the 30km Olympic event for the first time at her second Games.
Watch Jess and Casey live from 2pm AEDT on Channel 7 or 7plus.
Closing Ceremony
Once all 109 medal events have been completed we turn our attention the Closing Ceremony.
The ceremony, once again held at Beijing’s National Stadium ‘The Bird’s Nest’, will be a celebration of the 23rd edition of the Olympic Winter Games.
Sami Kennedy-Sim has been chosen as Australia’s Closing Ceremony Flag Bearer.
Watch the Closing Ceremony live from 11pm AEDT on Channel 7 or 7plus.
