Badminton - Sydney International
The 2023 Sydney International Badminton tournament kicks off this week from 18-22 October at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Hall.
Aussies to watch include Australian women's doubles pair Setyana Mapasa and Angela Yu who will be looking to repeat their gold medal performance from last week's tournament in Bendigo, Victoria, plus mixed doubles team Gronya Somerville and Kenneth Choo who will look to do one better after claiming silver last week.

Golf - LPGA Ladies Championships
The top five world ranked Australian women's golfers are competing in the LPGA Ladies Championship this week, with the competition underway and running through to Sunday 22 October at the Seowon Valley Country Club in Seoul, Korea.
World number seven, Minjee Lee headlines the Aussie team and is joined by Grace Kim, Hannah Green, Stephanie Kyriacou and Sarah Kemp.

Swimming - World Cup
The third and final leg of the Swimming World Cup kicks off this weekend, 20-22 October in Budapest, Hungary.
After topping the medal tables in the previous legs held in Germany and Greece, the Aussie Dolphins are eager to make it a clean sweep of the World Cup series.

Beach Volleyball - World Pro Tour
Three Australian beach volleyball duos are in India this week for the Beach Pro Tour Challenge event in Goa, taking place from 19-22 October. Thomas Hodges and Zac Schubert headline the Australian contingent, coming off a top-10 finish at the World Championships last week.
Other Aussies in action are Mark Nicolaidis and Izac Carracher, who also featured at the World Championships, and Matthew Abela and Tim Gregory.

Football - Women's Olympic Asian Qualifiers
The Matildas officially start their path to Paris 2024 this week on home soil in the Asian Olympic qualifying tournament.
Captain Sam Kerr and vice-captain Steph Catley headline the 22-player Australian squad competing in Perth.
They are set to face on Iran in their first Group A match on Thursday 26 October, with kick-off at 7pm AWST (10:00pm AEDT).
