Australians continue to compete across the globe this week, with a number of chances to qualify quota spots for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and a range of World Championship medals to be won.
Swimming World Championships
After a blistering start to the World Championships, the Aussie Dolphins will look to solidify their spot at the top of the medal table in the final days of competition.
With 13 medal opportunities over the weekend, Olympic champions like Emma McKeon and Zac Stubblety-Cook will look to continue the team’s dominant performance. Nine gold medals have already been earned by the Dolphins at the 2023 World Championships, the most they've gained at the event since 2009.

Archery World Championships
Australian Archers will be looking to earn more than just medals at the upcoming World Championships in Berlin, with quota spots on the line from Monday 31st July to Sunday 6th August.
The Aussie contingent can aim for top 3 finishes in both Teams and individual events at the World Championships, in order to lock in the quota spot for their country.

Sport Climbing World Championships
The Sport Climbing World Championships kicks off from August 1 to 12 in Bern, Switzerland with Aussie climbers vying for Australia's first quota spots for Paris 2024.
After sport climbing made its Olympic debut in Tokyo, Aussies will be out to earn a quota for Paris - The top three athletes per gender in Lead and Bouldering, along with the top two athletes per gender in Speed will earn a quota spot by name.

FIFA Women’s Football World Cup
After the first two matches of the group stages, the Matildas are sitting on 3 points, defeating Ireland in their first game, before a narrow loss to Nigeria on Thursday night.
To guarantee progressing to the quarterfinals, the Matildas must win their final group stage match against Canada on Monday 31 July.

World Triathlon Championship Series
Six Australian triathletes will compete in the World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) in Sunderland on Saturday 29 July, including Olympians Emma Jackson, Jaz Hedgeland and Jake Birtwhistle.
The race provides the perfect opportunity for the Aussies to prep for next month's Olympic Test Event in Paris.

Tour de France - Women's Road Cycling
The final days of Le Tour Femme will take place over the weekend, with the final stage coming to an end in Pau, France on Sunday.
Triple Olympian Amanda Spratt is the top ranked Australian, currently sitting in 19th position, as the peloton heads into stage six.

Beach Volleyball Beach Pro Tour Elite 16
Australian Beach Volleyball teams Mariafe Artacho del Solar and Taliqua Clancy, and Mark Nicolaidis & Izac Carracher have progressed through to the Main Draw at the Pro Tour Elite 16 in Montreal Canada.
Meanwhile, Aussie combination Paul Burnett and Chris McHugh have unfortunately been eliminated from competition after coming up against fellow Aussies Nicolaidis/Carracher in the qualification round.
Artacho de Solar/Clancy and Nicolaidis/Carracher continue their campaign over the weekend, with the medal rounds scheduled for Monday 31 July.

Cycling World Championships
The biggest Cycling World Championships, combining all cycling disciplines, kicks off in Glasgow next week. There will be 121 Aussies vying to claim the title of ‘World Champion.’
Running from 3-12 August, Australians will be competing across all Olympic disciplines - Track, Road, BMX Racing, BMX Freestyle and Mountain Bike - with valuable world ranking points on offer that contribute to qualification for Paris 2024.
