Following the tragic Japanese earthquake and tsunami, the International Skating Union has postponed the running of the 2011 Figure Skating World Championships which were originally scheduled to take in Tokyo on March 21-27. The ISU will re schedule the event in Tokyo once the country is in a position to conduct major sporting events following the tragedy.
