CANOE/KAYAK - SLALOM: Olympic canoeing silver medallist Jess Fox has started her international whitewater season superbly by dominating the Copa Pyrenees Cup in Europe.
Fox took five gold medals and one silver away from the three-legged slalom canoe competition which started at La Seu in Spain last week before moving to Foix and Pau in France.
The 18-year-old Penrith paddler completed a clean sweep of the C1 events in the canoe and also won two of the three K1 races - her London Games kayak discipline.
The only slight blot on Fox's copybook was a second placing to Spanish paddler Meritxell Rodriguez by just 0.08 seconds in the opening K1 event at La Seu d'Urgell.
Fox returns home to tune up for her 2013 campaign in Europe, starting with the first World Cup in Wales on June 21 and ending at the world titles in Prague in September.
