SWIMMING: Australia have continued their fine form in the pool, claiming 14 gold medals at the 2019 FINA World Cup in Singapore.
Dual-Olympian Mitch Larkin led the charge, picking up three gold medals across the 100m and 200m Backstroke along with the 4x50 m Freestyle Mixed Relay with Thomas Fraser-Holmes, Emily Seebohm and Cate Campbell.
Triple Olympian Emily Seebohm and Tokyo 2020 hopeful, Holly Barratt both collected two golds each in the 100m and 200m Backstroke and the 50m Backstroke and 50m Butterfly, respectively along with Rio 2016's Grant Irvine who topped the podium in both the 100m and 200m Butterfly.
Five-time Olympic medallist Cate Campbell continued her pet event domination, taking out the 50m Freestyle, while Maddy Gough collected gold in the 400m edition.
Ben Roberts took out the 1500m Butterfly and Rio and London Olympia Thomas Fraser-Holmes, claimed top spot in the 400m Individual Medley.
With the World Cup acting as qualification events for Tokyo 2020, Australia's results suggest a strong team to be fielded for next year's Olympic Games.
