The construction of Melbourne’s Ice House is progressing well, and the centre is on track to be open early in the New Year. Plastering and wall finishing is underway this week, ready for equipment fit-off, and the two concrete ice slabs have been completed. The construction crew is gearing up in the next fortnight to commission the plant and equipment, and it is expected that they will be making ice within the next few weeks.
