A belated 50-second penalty for missing a gate has cost Australian canoe slalom paddler Jessica Fox a final U23 C1 gold at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia.

The Australian Olympic Committee acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this nation.
