I’ve been snowboarding for about eleven years and I am currently training with Transition Snowboarding in Australia and in America. When I was six I had a snowboarding lesson, and was converted to “the dark side”.

My first competitions were the Victorian and Australian Interschools when I was in year three and have now competed for my school at each state and national interschools series every year since then.
I started out as an all-round snowboard athlete, competing in all disciplines: Giant Slalom, Slalom, Half Pipe, Boarder Cross and Slope Style. After a while I started focusing on only the racing disciplines like Giant Slalom and Boarder Cross. My main focus now is Boarder Cross.
My first Open Age FIS event I competed in was the 2014 Australia and New Zealand Continental Cup, which I achieved a 4th and a 5th, placing me 4th overall which qualified me for the 2015 FIS Junior World Snowboarding Championships.
During the 2014-2015 American season, I competed in all eight of the North American Continental Cup events. My best result at these NorAm’s was a 6th at Big White and a 10th at Mount Tremblant, both in Canada. At the completion of the eight events I ended up placing 14th overall.
As part of the selection process for the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games the selectors took into account my results at the NorAm events and also two events in Australia were chosen as part of the qualifying process. The first one was the 2015 Australia and New Zealand Continental Cup at Mt Hotham, Victoria

I am currently training in America with Transition Snowboarding and my coach Bryan Taylor for eight weeks. I am then traveling to Canada to do a couple NorAm cup events before heading to Norway in February.
I am looking forward to competing in the Youth Olympic Games and I'm hoping that the course is technical. I am very excited to be representing Australia at this event, it is an amazing opportunity.
