Figure Skating
In her highly anticipated Olympic debut, single ladies figure skater Kailani Craine will take to the ice in her Short Program at Gangneung Ice Arena today. The 19-year-old will finally live out her dream when she dances to the suitably named ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’. Her session starts at 10.00am (midday AEDT). Read about the ‘good omens’ surrounding the Newcastle native HERE and discover more about her Olympic debut HERE.

Ski Cross
2014 Olympian Anton Grimus will hit the slopes at Phoenix Snow Park at 11.30am (1.30pm AEDT) for the men’s ski cross seedings run. A good seeding run will place him well for the 1/8 final kicking off at 1.15pm as he looks to better his result of 25th from Sochi. Read more HERE.

Alpine
Greta Small resumes her PyeongChang campaign today in the ladies’ Downhill. All the action will be at Jeongseon Alpine Centre and Small is looking forward to tackling the “super fun track with no time for rest” when the session starts at 11.00am (1.00pm AEDT). Read more HERE.

Cross Country Skiing
Instead of competing against each other, it’s time for the Aussies to pair up and work together in the Team Sprint Free at the Alpensia Cross Country Centre. Jess Yeaton and Barbara Jezersek join forces in the women’s 1.2km event, while Callum Watson and Phil Bellingham will wear the green and gold in the men's 1.5km event. It all starts around 5.00pm (7.00pm AEDT); before it starts make sure you learn more about what the Team Sprint involves HERE.

Catch Up

Andy Jung and Deanna Lockett missed out on advancing to the quarterfinals in their respective 500m and 1000m short track events after two very courageous heats on Day 11. Jung came out flying in the top 3 of his pet 500m event, but lost control around a corner and crashed into a barrier, putting an end to his debut campaign. Lockett’s heat came down to a photo finish, however a late judges call penalised her for impending another skater. Read the full event wrap HERE.
