ALEX 'CHUMPY' PULLIN (Flagbearer): That was awesome. It was just so good I can't explain. Just before I walked out I looked around and saw the look on the faces of some first timers and I just felt their excitement. To lead this team is incredible and I shared tonight with my team and everyone back home...we are a long way from Australia but the support has been incredible.
LYDIA LASSILA: it's always exciting to march. The roar when Russia came out was unbelievable, it was deafening. The DJ was really rocking the music which made the atmosphere really good. I'm sure it looked great on TV and I know they'll put on on a great show.
CAM BOLTON: It was unreal. It was nothing like I've ever done before. Coming out and being a proud Australian. Following Chumpy and the rest of the crew. Being a psrt of the team was an amazing experience.
HEATH SPENCE: It was chilling and amazing. Absolutely awesome. Well worth the wait. Really happy we are here.
BELLE BROCKHOFF: It was absolutely incredible. Just before we marched out my heart was really pumping and racing. And when I got out there I thought I was going to have a heart attack!
KENT CALLISTER: Just to think that all these people were here to see us march out representing Australia was a humbling experience.
ALEX FERLAZZO: That was incredible, fantastic. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I am competing tomorrow but there was no way I was going to miss that.
