WASOC: The WA Olympic Team Appeal has kicked off in style with an exclusive cocktail party held in the Office of the Premier.

It was a fantastic evening with the Premier Hon Colin Barnett MLA, Minister for Sport and Recreation Mia Davies MLA, Chef de Mission 2016 Olympic Team Kitty Chiller, Olympians, athletes and WA business leaders all in attendance.

The night culminated in the Minister presenting a cheque from the WA Government for $266,000 to the Hon Richard Court AC, Chairman of the Team Appeal Committee WA, officially launching the WA Team Appeal.  Triple Olympian, Eamon Sullivan thanked the Western Australian Government on behalf of the athletes and Olympians on their Road to Rio.
