Joh Shaw has ridden to the second best parallel giant slalom result of her career, finishing in 14th place in Gujo-Gifu, Japan. Shaw was the third fastest down the red course in the opening qualification round, recording a time of 36.92 seconds, 0.87 seconds slower than Corinna Boccacini of Italy.
