In short track, Tatiana Borodulina became the first skater to put Australia at the top of a World Cup podium when she sprinted to victory in the 500m in Dresden. The 24-year-old Brisbane skater collected two gold medals and one bronze for the season, ending the year ranked third in the world for the 500m distance.
