ALPINE SKIING: Greta Small will have to wait to get Australia's alpine skiing campaign underway after the women's slalom event was postponed today.
Scheduled to take part in her second Olympic Games at just 22, Small's competition will now get underway on Friday.
A number of alpine skiing events have already been delayed and postponed due to the high amounts of wind, and in turn athlete safety.
That means, if competition goes ahead, both Small and 2012 Youth Olympian Harry Laidlaw will compete on Friday.
Small did make the most of the delay though hanging at the top of the course to watch her compatriot Scotty James win halfpipe bronze on TV.
