The Australian Olympic Team Opening Ceremony uniforms that will be proudly worn by Australian Olympians in Paris were unveiled at Clovelly Bay, Sydney today, to mark 100 days to go until the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Designed by Sportscraft with footwear by Volley, the stunning designs were showcased by nine athletes, from reigning Olympic champions to those aiming to make their first Games in Paris.
Paris 2024 marks the tenth Games Sportscraft have proudly supplied the Ceremony uniforms for the Australian Olympic Team, continuing their decades of support for Aussie athletes stretching back to Atlanta 1996.
With a global television audience of more than one billion people watching the Opening Ceremony, the Australian Olympic Team will wear a uniform inspired by the unmistakable essence of Paris, with fashion at the forefront.
Sportscraft have created a uniform that blends both modern sporting elements with a classic styling, where the traditional green and gold colour base is enhanced with modern trim details on each garment and accessory.

The hero piece is the Opening Ceremony blazer, which includes for the first time the Australian Olympians' Oath, on the inside jacket pocket, with the names of all 301 Australian Summer Olympic champions throughout the jacket lining.
The women will wear a green double breasted linen blazer, with a choice of a sport inspired tee or tank made from high quality cotton which features gold and green ribbing. Athletes can select between wearing a stone coloured chino short or a green and gold ombre pleated skirt in a nod to the Sportscraft's 110-year history of making pleated garments.
The men will wear a single-breasted linen blazer over a sports inspired tee of their own, with the stretch chino short.
The outfits feature Indigenous artwork 'Walking Together' from Olympic boxer Paul Fleming and 'Ngalmun Danalaig (Our Way of Life)' from Torres Strait Island artist David Bosun, used in the pocket square, scarf and with the Olympians' Oath on the inside lining.
Volley's Opening Ceremony footwear is a revamped iconic Volley Deuce, featuring premium leather, embossed Olympic logos, and subtle green and gold accents. The insoles feature Indigenous Olympic boxer Paul Fleming's artwork, ensuring all Australian Olympic Team members will be 'Walking Together'.

Working with athletes and the AOC for more than two years, the Sportscraft and Volley Teams developed a uniform that places a strong emphasis on functionality, employing soft and breathable fabrics throughout the collection, including the first time Australian-grown cotton has been used in the Opening Ceremony uniforms.
The uniforms were also designed using stretch fabrication, ensuring comfort and flexibility for every Australian Olympian, no matter their body type or sporting discipline. Whether it's weightlifters, gymnasts, marathon runners or basketball players, each athlete will find ease of movement in their Opening and Closing Ceremony attire.
Over the past 18 months, Sportscraft and Volley measured up almost 1000 prospective Team members and officials, to ensure sizing is spot on for the eventual expected Team size of 460-480 athletes.
Chef de Mission of the Australian Olympic Team for Paris 2024 Anna Meares was thrilled to reveal the uniforms.
'Wearing an Australian Olympic Opening Ceremony uniform is a rare and special moment,' Ms Meares said. 'Thank you to Sportscraft and Volley for designing a uniform that will make all of our Olympians in Paris look and feel incredible on the world's biggest stage.
"Sportscraft and Volley are iconic Australian brands with a proud history of supporting Australian Olympians.
"I have had the honour of receiving four Australian Olympic Team ceremony uniforms and I treasure each one. For Olympians, it brings us together, from different sports, backgrounds and experiences, proudly uniting us through that Team uniform.
"It creates a connection and sense of belonging to the Australian Olympic Team's proud history. It begins our Olympic experience and post-Games continues to be worn by Olympians proudly to events, long past our days as elite athletes. It's a uniform that is treasured and the quality, comfort and feel brings a pride and confidence to us all.
"I love that the Olympians' Oath will sit on the inside lining at heart level, with the support of all Australia's Olympic champions throughout history wrapping around each of our Team members for Paris.
"I know Aussie athletes are working hard to earn their own opportunity to don this uniform in Paris and with 100 days to go, this will add excitement and inspiration to the training and competition grind knowing this awaits their efforts."
Sportscraft also unveiled their Olympic campaign 'SUPPORTSCRAFT', which highlights Sportscraft's commitment to supporting Olympic athletes through a series of initiatives in the lead up to the Games. A dedicated hub on the Sportscraft website will allow Australians to send their supportive messages to Olympians via their social channels.

Olympic champion Tom Green said seeing his name on the lining of the Paris blazer was surreal.
"It's really special, being able to see other athletes' names of all the Australian champions alongside your own name," Green said. "I appreciate it now, but in the future being able to point it out to family and friends that this is my spot on the jacket, it's really special. It shows so much thought went into the design as well.
"My first impressions trying on the uniform today, were that it looks really good, and I can tell we are going to France. This uniform, Sportscraft just keep outdoing themselves every single time."
Rio Olympian footballer Michelle Heyman said today's milestone made the reality of a potential second Olympics feel more real.
"To wear this uniform in Paris with my girls would be a dream come true," Heyman said.
"The Australian Olympic Team is so special. I love wearing my Rio Olympic jacket, when I talk to schools or do events, I'm so proud to wear it and show that I'm an Australian Olympian.
